On-Call Pressure Piping and Pressure Vessel Mechanical Repair Services, per specifications and general conditions. submit proposals to provide pressure piping, pressure vessel, and mechanical repair, fabrication and construction services to the City of Redding Power Plant. Work executed under this contract will be confined to work performed to keep, operate and maintain the Power Plant's equipment and infrastructure. The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this proposal is 5:00 p.m. PT, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. All inquiries must be made in writing and may be submitted to the email address shown below. It is expected the contract will commence upon contract execution (estimated January 1, 2025) and terminate on December 31, 2025. Contract may be renewed for maximum of four (4) consecutive, one-year periods through December 31, 2029; subject to satisfactory performance, and agreement to continue to operate under the same terms, conditions, and contracted labor rate increase, unless mutually agreed otherwise. The City of Redding power plant is a natural gas fired power station rated at 185 MW electrical generating capacity. The facility utilizes five gas turbines and one steam turbine. Two of the gas turbines operate in combined cycle with the steam turbine. A maximum of two (2) qualified contractors may be selected, each for a Not-to-Exceed $70,000 per contract year (per contractor) contract for work to be performed as described in this Request for Qualifications (RFQual). This contract will allow contractor to perform preapproved work on a firm price basis or on a time and material basis as per negotiated rates incorporated into the awarded contract.
