Site work for a water / sewer project in Corvallis, Oregon. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will replace the following sewer pipes, including manholes and the public portion of sewer laterals, which have reached the end of their useful life: - 340 feet of 8-inch concrete pipe in NW 34th Street between NW Harrison Boulevard and NW Tyler Avenue. - 365 feet of 10-inch concrete pipe in NW 32nd Street between NW Harrison Boulevard and NW Van Buren Avenue. - 375 feet of 8-inch concrete pipe in an easement between NW Orchard Avenue and NW Campus Way. The new pipe will be upsized to a 10-inch line. The project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), As of May 2, 2025, per owner, the project was designed in-house and contractor awarded. They anticipate construction starting mid-May 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
