MUNICIPAL BUILDING CULVERT REPLACEMENT The Work to be completed under this contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to re- place approximately 140 lin- ear feet of an existing 48-inch corrugated metal storm pipe with two (2) new, 36-inch HDPE storm pipes, located on the Colebrookdale Township Building property. The Work also includes, the installation of storm sewer structures such as the pipe headwall and endwall, rip-rap apron instl- lation, grading improvements and restoration of all dis- turbed areas. The proposed improvements are to be in- stalled in accordance with the plans dated September, 18, 2024, as prepared by Gilmore & Associates, Inc. Each bid shall be submit- ted in accordance with Ar- ticle 15 of the Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 21 13 Instructions - Submit- ting Electronic Bids For This Solicitation and must be ac- companied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Cole- brookdale Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of in- surance and bonds for Perfor- mance, Payment, and Mainte- nance in such form as meets the approval of Colebrook- dale Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by Colebrookdale Township. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer by clicking on the Questions tab within PennBid. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be by Addenda and posted within the PennBid Documents. Notifications of Addenda will be emailed to all parties recorded by Engineer as having downloaded the Bidding Documents. Questions received after the posted cut-off date may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The project is subject to ap- plicable provisions of Act 422, PA Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days af- ter the date set for the open- ing of the bids. Colebrookdale Township re- serves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any infor- mality in the bids.
