Project proposes to replace an existing CMP arch culvert under Lutz Road with a 48" x 76" x 40' long RCP elliptical pipe along with associated riprap aprons, riprap bank stabilization and road resto-ration. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond within 20 days after the contract is awarded. A 15% maintenance bond will also be required upon completion of the project. Proposals must be made upon the forms furnished by the Township. The Township reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof. Project is to be substantially complete by August 15, 2025. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day.
