Navajo County has been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Arizona Department of Housing, for the replacement of the roof of the Pinetop-Lakeside Senior Citizens Community Center. This project is subject to Davis-Bacon wages. Question Deadline 11/06/2024, Any request for an explanation of the meaning or interpretations of the bid shall be submitted.If interpretations or explanations are warranted, the response will be issued as an addendum to the bid and will be emailed to all those on the bidders list by end of day on November 8, 2024. Navajo County will accept bids from qualified firms registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to perform the following services: Remove and replace the current asphalt shingle roof with a new asphalt shingle roof. The Community Center is approximately 8,500 square feet in size. The project will take place at the Pinetop-Lakeside Senior Citizens Community Center, 1594 Johnson Drive, Lakeside, AZ 85929. The project location is east of Highway 260, on Johnson Drive in Pinetop-Lakeside about 9 miles southeast of the City of Show Low. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure proposals are received at the above location on or before the specified time. Minority, woman-owned and disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit. Pinetop-Lakeside Senior Citizens Community Center in consultation with Navajo County may waive informalities in the bids, may negotiate with any and all bidders, and may reject all bids if it is deemed in the best interest of Grantee.
