Reference Number 0000280730 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/11/08 02:00:00 PM EST Bid Intent Deadline 2024/10/28 02:00:00 PM EDT Scope of Work: 1 the Intent of This Project is to Complete an Intrusive Structural Assessment of the Existing Basement Foundation Masonry Walls as Recommended in the Kingston Provincial Campus Structural Study 2020 (Attached in Appendix E). 2 the Study Identified Extremely Poor Conditions of the Existing Masonry Walls in the Basement, but Intrusive Assessment Was Not Part of Their Study. 3 Consultant to Undertake Destructive Investigation/research in Three (3) Areas of the Foundation Wall. 4 the Study Will Involve the Use of Destructive Testing (Excavation, Coring, Sampling, Etc.). Walls Shall Be Exposed on Both the Interior and Exterior to the Footings. 5 the Completed Study Should Identify Deficiencies, Provide Life Expectancies of Each Structural System, Provide Options and Recommendations for Future Repairs/replacements, and Respective Cost Estimates. 6 Consultant Shall Provide a Report Detailing the Existing Interior Basement Walls Including All Its Related Equipment/components, Its Condition, and Recommend Optimal Mitigation Strategy (Renewal) Options That Will Align With the 10-year Capital Plan. 7 Recommendations Shall Include Class D Estimates for Optional Repair/renewal of the System in Accordance With Io Design Guidelines. Budgetary Cost Will Be Itemized in the Report. 8 Consultant Shall Complete the Recommended Needs Template (Rnt) Including Uniformat, Project Name, Estimated Cost, Priority (P1-p5) and Delivery Year. 230248-274561 - Study - Interior Walls – Mnr Vehicle Garage, 46 Heakes Lane: Scope of Work: 1 the Intent of This Project is to Complete an Intrusive Structural Investigation of the Interior Side of the Exterior Walls and Other Interior Partitions as Recommended in the Kingston Provincial Campus Structural Study 2020 (Attached in Appendix E). 2 the Study Recommended Removal of Interior Wall Finishes, Inspect and Shore Critical Areas Well as Further Intrusive Investigations Into the Underlying Cause of the Issues at the Exterior and Interior Partitions.
