E-mail: mmikulasik@chandos.com Project Overview: Kingston's Youth Services Hub Project will provide critical services to 16-24-year-old homeless and vulnerable youth in one location. Phase 2 which includes for Supportive and Transitional Housing Building will include for 48 additional bachelor and accessible units with individual case management to assess youth needs and resourcing to reach the goal of individual self-sufficiency and independence. Phase 2 will also include for renovation and transformation of an existing church into a Cultural Centre that will allow for Youth focused Arts and Indigenous programming, youth events from concerts to art shows as well as offering banquets and meeting space. Combining individualized case management and support across programs in the most cost-effective way to utilize limited operational financial resources, staffing, and shared infrastructure & facilities to maximize deliverables to Kingston youth. Project Description: Kingston Youth Services Hub (KYSH) Project includes for: -Complete demolition of Vatcher Hall and 2 existing building additions. -Selective demolition in existing Church building. -Renovation of the interior of the Church. -Structural reinforcing to existing Church building. -Designated substances abatement in all existing buildings and additions. -New site services and mechanical and electrical vault. -Construction of a new 4 storey residential and office building with ICF basement walls and wood framed superstructure. -Unit paving and landscaping.
