Site work for a civil project in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Questions received less than seven days prior to the data for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project generally consists of: The installation of the service ditch liner and associated items at the Clark Floyd Landfill as shown on the plans. This includes providing the necessary clay soils to construct the clay barrier layer, which will be tested for pre-qualification prior to mobilization. Pre-qualified stone will be required to transported by the Contractor after award of the Contract. The Bidder awarded this project shall be substantially complete with the project within 60 calendar days following the acceptance of soils following the pre-qualification testing. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 per calendar day. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining hard copies of the contract documents, at their own expense, if desired. No bid bond will be required for this project. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within one hundred twenty (120) days after the actual date of bid opening. The Clark County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any bidding informality or to reject any or all bids. Clark County, Indiana is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
