Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes approximately 3,800 linear feet of road widening and resurfacing, as well as the addition of storm sewers, water lines, driveway reconstruction, curbing, and grading for sidewalks along Charlestown Pike. All sealed bids shall be marked "Sealed Bid Charlestown Pike Widening and Resurfacing - Salem Noble Road to SR 62. Prospective bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Document Notes : Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. The Contract Documents are on file for public inspection at the Clark County Board of Commissioners Office. Each Bid Proposal Packet shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Clark County Board of Commissioners or an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. If the Bidder is awarded the Contract, a Performance, Labor and Material Bond shall be required in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Bid Proposal Packets shall be properly and completely executed on the forms provided, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. Contractors and Sub-Contractors shall be INDOT prequalified. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for opening bids. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Board of Commissioners further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder to the advantage of the Clark County or to reject all bids.
