Renovation of a municipal facility in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 39,946-square-foot municipal facility.
In accordance With Washington State Code, all public work submittal to the County by interested bidders shall be accompanied by a 5% BID BOND in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposed. Public work is defined as "all work, construction, alteration, repair, or improvement other than ordinary maintenance. A 100% PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND shall be additionally required of a successful bidder of any public work. Should a successful bidder fail to furnish this bond within ten (10) days after notice of bid award, exclusive of the date of notice, his five percent (5%) bid bond shall be forfeited to the County, and the contract shall be awarded to the next lowest and best bidder. After a negotiated start date, the project shall be substantially complete by August 15, 2025 and fully complete by August 31, 2025. Last Day for Questions and Substitution Requests November 7, 2024 Questions and clarifications regarding the project shall be directed to the Project Manager, Jason Tand with LRS Architects at jtand@lrsarchitects.com The building will be open one day only Monday, November 25, 2025 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm for contractors and their sub-contractors to look around or do any final measurements.
