A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Contract work will include the rehabilitation and repairs of a water supply well and well house building, treatment equipment, site work, painting, yard piping, electrical, and other necessary items as detailed and indicated by the drawings. It will also include adding a mixer in the existing water tank, steel piping up the tank and into the water tank, along with touch-up and repair to the tank coating system impacted by the work in this project. Water System Improvements Upgrades to Water Supply Well 3 Henry Davis Road Well The bidder must provide their name, address, and other information required by the Project Engineer on the Request for Bid Documents form in order to obtain a numbered set of Contract Documents, which will be assigned to that bidder. The Contract Documents are for that bidders exclusive use and a bid submitted by any other bidder using a numbered set that has not been assigned to them is automatically disqualified. This provision will not be waived. It is the bidders responsibility to verify with the Project Engineer no later than 72 hours prior to the bid time and date that they have received all addenda and other supplemental information issued by the Engineer during the bid period for use in preparing the bid. A bid bond or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to Turnerville Water and Fire Protection District must accompany each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days following the bid opening unless approved by the Owner. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope on forms provided in the specifications and shall be clearly marked bid for: Water System Improvements Upgrades to Water Supply Well #3 Henry Davis Road Well. The entire bid book must be submitted in the bid package, along with the experience documentation, resumes, design sketches, and other items called for by the bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding. Contractors bidding on this project must hold a current license from the State Licensing Board of General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama.
