Project Description: The project includes extending the City's existing Monroe Lift Station force main by approximately 1,850 linear feet via horizontal directional drilling and open-cut and replacing approximately 1,830 linear feet of existing gravity sewer main via sliplining along Water Street. The work also includes traffic control, temporary sewer bypasses, manhole rehabilitations, side sewer reinstatements, abandonment, restoration and coordination with the City for construction sequencing. Schedule: The project must be completed within 80 working days. Bid Bond: All Bid Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Proposal deposit in surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such Bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory bonds to perform the Work within the time states in the Specifications, the Bid Proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Port Townsend. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days.
