Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The contractor will replace the sanitary sewer line, the storm sewer, and repave the parking lot at Roberts Curt community. The contractor will clean, inspect, and use a cured in place liner to rehabilitate the existing storm sewer line and replace the existing sanitary sewer lines, Once the lines are replaced, the contractor will rehabilitate or replace the lot pavement to be demolished and repaved. The work will commence at the time stipulated in a written "Notice to Proceed" to the contractor. The performance period of this contract will be ninety (90) days following equipment lead time. Liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per day for each calendar day beyond the stated contract time. a performance and payment bond in a penal sum of 100 percent of the contract price separate performance and payment bonds, each for 50 percent or more of the contract price.
