SCOPE OF WORK Comprehensive design services for a bridge replacement project that includes roadway realignment, flattening horizontal curves, and reconfiguring access and parking for the Lava Lake trailhead. Three alternatives for the locations of the roadway alignment, bridges, and parking areas have been developed (included at the end of the RFP). An alternatives analysis will need to be performed to determine which alternative to further develop. The consultant will be required to provide all services necessary for the project, including (but not limited to) bridge design; roadway design; traffic analysis and engineering; geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design; survey; environmental evaluation and permitting; hydraulics analysis and design; public involvement; local agency, and other stakeholder coordination; R/W design; and potentially R/W acquisition. LOCATION This project is located in Gallatin County on N-50 (US 191) near the Lava Lake Trailhead in the Gallatin Canyon from reference point 61.0 to 61.5.
