Reference Number 0000363998 Job Location Fort Collins, CO The Contract Documents provide for the construction of 10072 Mail Creek Ditch Pedestrian Trail & Bridge. The Work consists of construction of a pedestrian overpass over the Union Pacific Railroad. The overpass consists of a 32' prestress concrete slab span, and a 190'-6" prefabricated steel truss span. Leading to the overpass are a modular block wall and embankment. Other Work includes: electrical lighting system, concrete trail, steel railings, Hpiles, earthwork, Parshall Flume, landscaping, construction surveying and traffic control. All Works associated with the modular block wall on the west side, and the ditch on the east side must be completed by April 15, 2025. Contractor to complete the Right of Entry Agreement as soon as possible with Union Pacific Railroad Company and provide all required documents to the Railroad. Contractor to provide the required advanced notice to Union Pacific Railroad Company for any Work within the railroad right-of-way. Responses to all questions submitted before the deadline will be addressed in an addendum and posted on online. This is a Federally funded project and the DBE goal is 8.5%. Bid security in the amount of not less than 5% of the total Bid must accompany each Bid in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of forty-five (45) days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.
