Renovation of a detention facility in Carson City, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is requesting architectural and engineering services for security gate repair/ replacement at the Carson City Correctional Facility. This will include controls for the gates. The subject gates are located in the administration buildings of both the east and west sides of the facility. It is imperative that one of the subject security gates remain in operation at all times, during the course of the replacement/ renovation work. The selected professional services contractor shall use Allied Universal Technology Services as a consultant for technology/ security work. The professional services contractor shall provide architectural and engineering services for both final design and construction administration encompassed by Phase 500 Final Design, Phase 600 Construction Administration/Office, and Phase 700 Construction Administration/ Field Inspection Services. This project will comply with all codes, standards, regulations, and workers' safety rules that are administered by federal agencies (EPA, OSHA, and DOT), state agencies (DHHS, EGLE, DNR, and MIOSHA), and any other local regulations and standards that may apply.
