Renovation of a detention facility in Carson City, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is requesting architectural and engineering services for replacement of the existing emergency generator at the Carson City Correctional Facility. This will include switchgear and all associated electrical service interface with the generator. The existing generator is located at the maintenance building at the east side of the facility. For design, the new generator should have a capacity of 500 kW. It is also assumed that the existing underground fuel storage tank will be removed. The professional services contractor shall provide architectural and engineering services for both final design and construction administration encompassed by Phase 500 Final Design, Phase 600 Construction Administration/Office, and Phase 700 Construction Administration/ Field Inspection Services.
