SCOPE OF WORK This is a full Guaranteed Maintenance Service Contract. The CONTRACTOR shall provide full Guaranteed Maintenance Services, including, but not limited to, inspections, testing, programming and reprogramming, for fire alarm systems to meet the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code (NFPA 72), as well as repairs as required, for Hawaii State Department of Education (STATE) schools located on the Island of Oahu. The list of schools and manufacturer/brand of equipment to be serviced under this contract is incorporated by reference and attached as Exhibit B, Inventory of Fire Alarm Systems, for: Group II: EST/Edwards Fire Alarm Systems The CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, equipment, materials (including, but not limited to, parts, tools, lubricants), transportation (including air and/or boat transportation), overhead, profit, and supervision, all applicable taxes and any other incidental and operating expenses incurred in the performance of all obligations hereunder for the full Guaranteed Maintenance Services required to maintain proper performance of the designated fire alarm system at each of the schools identified in Exhibit B, at no additional cost to the STATE. Full Guaranteed Maintenance Services shall consist of maintenance, inspection and testing during the contract period. The CONTRACTOR shall also provide maintenance services, which includes, but is not limited to, trouble call services and emergency services, as required, during the contract period. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is a full Guaranteed Maintenance Service Contract. The Unit Bid Price shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Scheduled inspection and testing in accordance with NFPA 72, latest edition. 2. All maintenance and repair services per NFPA 72, latest edition, or current Honolulu County codes, including tracing wires and determining locations of ground faults or other reasons. 3. Respond to all trouble calls and emergency calls regardless of the reason. Upon arrival at the job site, the CONTRACTOR shall first report to the School's Administration Office and follow school procedures for campus visitors. This contract shall commence on January 1, 2025 and shall end on December 31, 2025, subject to availability of funds as specified in the General Conditions.
