Site work for a mixed-use development in Davie, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
Development District (CDD) is accepting bids from qualified and responsible Contractors to furnish and assume full responsibility for all design, labor, material, construction equipment and machinery, transportation, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities and all other facilities and incidentals necessary to perform Border Fence Repairs within the Monterra community in areas shown in the Site Assessment Map and described in the technical specifications for the project including the costs for all labor, supervision, servicing, taxes, bonds and insurance, permitting fees, traffic control, security, miscellaneous costs, warranties, general conditions, overhead and profit. Any and all inquiries regarding this ITB or the Project must be directed in writing, by US mail, fax or email to the purchasing agent indicated in this ITB. All questions or inquiries must be received no later than twenty (20) calendar days prior to the Bid Submittal Deadline. Project Description: Design, construct and/or repair existing fence in a portion of the Monterra community (Affected Fence Location Map in Exhibit A). The design and approach must meet the design intent. 1. Repair, restoration, or replacement of canted fence columns, as follows: a. Replacement of the canted fence column, a helical pile as detailed in included as Exhibit B is preferred. Other column replacement methods may be submitted for review and approval by the District Engineer. Replacement column to match dimension, texture, and paint color of existing fence columns. Existing conditions illustrated in Exhibit C. b. Repair/ restoration of canted fence columns, necessitates root pruning 3' around the column and placement of a root barrier. c. Repair and reconnection of aluminum rail attachments to fence columns. Aluminum fence replacement to match the pattern and color of the existing aluminum fence. d. Replacement of column caps where missing e. A schematic design detail shall be provided that includes material specifications, dimensional guidelines, and construction methodology. Trees necessitating Tree Pruning and/or root pruning to be identified in the schematic plan. f. Unit prices per the Schedule of Bid items shall be provided based on the method specified. The Work to be completed includes but it is not limited to: 2. Development and design for review and approval a fence rehabilitation plan based on the attached typical (Exhibit B) for the locations shown in Exhibit A. Work areas shall be along the delineated path. 3. Providing a construction schedule and approach to the work for resident communication. 4. Restoring all areas altered as a result of the execution of the project to existing condition or better. 5. Obtaining all required necessary permits and compliance required to execute the Work, if any. 6. Attending Monterra CDD meetings and/or workshops to discuss project construction timeline, sequence, and progress as required A recommendation will be discussed and the lowest most responsive bidder announced at the next regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the Monterra Community Development District. The CDD reserves the right to reject all bids with or without cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, and to accept the bid which best serves the interest of the CDD. INQUIRIES.
