Description: Major Quantities on the Project Include: 1,000 CY Excavation 180 TON Aggregate Base Course 850 TON HMA Pavement 2,260 LF Pavement Marking, Paint 1,580 SY Turf Restoration Alternate 4,200 SY Concrete Pavement (6-inch thickness) Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The City of Sparta reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
