Site work for a water / sewer project in Kennewick, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project is for the construction of approximately 3,280 linear feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer pipe, 950 linear feet of 18-inch water pipe, and 950 linear feet of 16-inch water pipe to serve the light industrial area (LIA) south of I-82. The sanitary sewer and water pipelines will cross under I-82 via two 36-inch horizontal bore trenchless crossings, each approximately 220 linear feet. As part of an additive bid schedule, approximately 690 linear feet of existing 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe will be removed and replaced with 12-inch sanitary sewer pipe. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick.
