The County is requesting a proposed hourly rate for labor and equipment. It is the County's desire to contract with two or more qualified firms on an hourly basis. Contractors will be required to provide not-to-exceed pricing based on an estimated number of hours and equipment usage per project. Proposers must also include any contingencies that may result in increased costs and obtain written County approval for such contingencies before proceeding. Contractor availability will be a factor of consideration. The County guarantees no amount of business resulting from an agreement. While projects will be awarded on a rotational basis, the County reserves the right to prioritize urgent or critical projects based on specific needs, and contractors will be contacted based on availability and expertise for such tasks. The proposed services shall be provided in a professional manner including all labor, materials, equipment, tools, insurance and services necessary to complete the required tasks. Automobile Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 combined single limits B. General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 occurrence limit, $2,000,000 general aggregate. C. Workers' Compensation Insurance at statutory limits. Amherst County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals received.
