Renovation of a mixed-use development in Amherst, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
Awarded to Trade-In to Clyde Armory Inc. The Amherst County will accept sealed bids for reroofing the existing ballasted EPDM roof systems at the Amherst County Courthouse and the Amherst County Sheriff's Department Loading Dock. Such coverages shall be maintained by the contractor for the duration of the contract period. Amherst County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The Scope of Work includes the replacement approximately 77 squares of ballasted EPDM roof. The Courthouse roofs account for 75 squares with the remaining 2 squares being at the Sheriffs Department loading dock. The ballast will be removed and turned over to the County. New rigid polyiso insulation and new fully adhered EPDM roofs will be installed at both buildings.
