Removal and replacement of 5 Water Source Heat Pumps: Daikin Brand or other that is compatible with existing plumbing. 2.Purpose/Use for Supply or Service: The state needs to purchase and replace the existing 5 heat pumps in Building C at 2705 Spurgin Rd, Missoula, MT 59804. 3.Description of Supply or Service a. Disconnect and remove 5 water source heat pumps b. Install 5 Daikin water source heat pumps - Daikin brand or any other brand/unit that is compatible with existing plumbing, etc. c. Provide required transitions and reconnect existing supply and return duct to heat pumps d. Modify and reconnect heat pump water supply and return lines. We will re-use existing e.shut-off valves, flow balance valves, strainers, and flex connectors f. Reconnect electrical power to heat pumps using existing feeds and disconnects g. Re-install and wire existing DDC controls to new heat pumps - May need to work with Electro Controls to do so. h. Re-commission existing DDC controls and verify proper operation, verify proper i.operation of network controller and graphical user interface. - substitute brands must be compatible j. Includes include testing and balancing of systems. k. Mechanical permits 4.List Special Requirements: Back-up heaters are in place and should remain in place to function as a back-up heater, thus heat pump replacement project should factor in ensuring the back-up heaters are also addressed appropriately in this project to remain fully functioning. 5.Receiving Procedures: The contractor must include testing and balancing of systems.
