Snowplow Bids November 2024 thru December 31st 2025 Snow Plowing Contract Bid Spec's 1. Contractor is required to utilize a vehicle with a wing to maintain streets for proper width. 2. Contractor is required to have access to sand and salt and have the ability to store, mix, and apply salt/sand as needed to assure safe driving conditions. 3. Contractor shall be required to respond and provide snow removal services during a 24-hour period, 7 days a week as weather presents itself. 4. In the case of major snow accumulation, the successful Bidder will provide ongoing services after the storm to make sure that all of the subject roads and thorough fares are cleared of snow. 5. The contracted bidder is required to provide a certificate of Liability Insurance. 6. The Contracted bidder is required to maintain his or her equipment which must comply with D.O.T. safety standards. 7. The Contract bidder is required to provide, maintain and utilize proper equipment to remove and haul accumulated snow buildup from intersections as needed. The Village Board wants the contract bid by: Hourly rates per type of piece of equipment.
