Renovation of a fire / police facility in Danville, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
It is the intent of this "RFP" to secure a Virginia-licensed contractor for the office renovation project at the Danville Fire Department Headquarters station, located at 600 Lynn Street, Danville, VA 24541, as described in Section 4 of this RFP. Email questions to purchasing@danvilleva.gov by no later than 5:00 PM on November 22, 2024. Bonds: 5% Bid bond; 100% performance and payment bonds. Time of Completion: Will be discussed at Pre-Bid Conference. Liquidated Damages: ($250) dollars per calendar day. the award will be made to the proposal conforming to the RFP and will be most advantageous to the City. Price, Technical recommendation, and other factors considered such as delivery time, quality, operating and maintenance cost, service, resale value, etc. The City reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received.
