The City of Waterbury, Department of Education (hereinafter "City"), is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide design services for parking lots The Firm shall complete all work and services required under this Contract within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after Final Completion* of Construction of DRIGGS & WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS PARKING LOTS Project and in accordance with the following Project Milestones ("Contract Time"): *Final Completion shall have the same meaning here as that term is defined within the DRIGGS & WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS PARKING LOTS Project Construction Contract Project Milestone #1 - Complete Task 1 (100% Final Design and Bid Documents for DRIGGS & WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS PARKING LOTS Project Construction) within thirty (30) consecutive calendars of the City's written notice to proceed; Project Milestone #2 - Complete Task 2 (Design Services During Construction) by Final Completion* of DRIGGS & WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS PARKING LOTS Project Construction. Question Deadline 11/15/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions and communications about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website . Design & Engineering services are needed for redevelopment of parking lots at Driggs & Washington Elementary Schools. The City of Waterbury Engineering Services Contract form (see Attachment B-1) shall be utilized for Successful Respondent(s) (referred to as "Firm" in Attachment B-1) selected to perform Assessment, Design, and Bidding Services (Items I, II, and III in Attachment E). The City of Waterbury Professional Services Agreement form (see Attachment B-2) shall be utilized for Successful Respondent(s) (referred to as Consultant(s) in Attachment B-2) selected to perform Construction Administration Services (Item IV in Attachment E. Insurance The respondent shall provide insurance as set for in Attachment D provided by insurers, satisfactory to the City and authorized to do business in the State of Connecticut, an "A-" Best's Rating and at least a Class V3 or better financial category as shown in the most current A.M. Performance/Payment Bonds NOT APPLICABLE The Proposer to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. In the City's sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
