Professional Services Durning the Years 2025 and 2026 The Portage County Engineer will accept Statement of Qualifications for professional services to assist County personnel in engineering studies, design, the preparation of construction plans, review of private development plans, and the construction administration of future projects in Portage County with a project length to be determined. The Statements of Qualifications submitted will be kept on file for calendar year 2025 and 2026 and evaluated for design requirements when the Portage County Engineer is planning to contract for professional design services with an estimated design fee of less than $50,000. The cost data to perform the work is not to be submitted at this time. Proposals will be evaluated based on the information submitted. The most qualified firm will be selected and asked to submit a detailed price proposal from which negotiations will begin to establish the parameters of a contract. If negotiations between the parties are not successful, the next most qualified firm will be selected and the process will be repeated until a contract agreement is achieved. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
