Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Vidalia, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The construction of the Vidalia Ezra Taylor Park including +/- 17,136 SY of 8 inch Graded Aggregate Base, Roadway grading, athletic field grading and grassing, +/- 2,310 SY of 4" Class B 3,000 PSI concrete, +/- 1,970 TNS of 9.5mm Superpave asphalt, grading, +/- 1,855 LF of 18" RCP storm drain piping, +/- 4,896 LF of concrete curb and gutter, detention pond modifications including OCS, striping, grassing and other erosion control measures as shown on the plans as all necessary items to properly construct the park as shown on the construction drawings All work on the Project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Vidalia prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Vidalia, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. The City of Vidalia reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
