Site work and paving for a civil project in Vidalia, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following:New Roadway construction, including traffic control, erosion control measures, and construction of 20'wide roadway, +- 888 LF of 18" RCP, +- 0.87 Lin. Miles of mainline road grading, topping, +- 5,750 LF of curb andgutter, +- 7,333 TN of graded aggregate base course, +- 807 TN of 9.5 mm RAC Superpave Asphalt, signage,striping, and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days of date of notice toproceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with City of Vidalia prior to the time set forth above,and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Vidalia for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; tobe forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptlyinto a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and InsuranceCertificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened.No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. The City of Vidalia, reservesthe right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in theproposals Question Deadline 05/08/2025 To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer
