Deadline for Questions 10/13/2025 Vidalia City Schools is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide track resurfacing services at Vidalia High School, located at 901 North Street West, Vidalia, GA 30474. The purpose of this project is to remove the existing track surfacing, prepare the existing base, and install a new polyurethane track surfacing system suitable for Georgia High School Association (GHSA) competition standards. Scope of Work The selected contractor shall: 1. Demolition & Disposal a. Remove the existing track surface and properly dispose of all materials offsite. 2. Surface Preparation a. Thoroughly clean and prep the existing track base. b. Ensure the surface is properly conditioned for new surfacing adhesion. 3. Installation of New Surfacing System a. Provide and install a polyurethane basemat track surfacing system (or approved equivalent). b. Minimum thickness: 13mm. c. System shall meet all GHSA competition standards. d. Provide striping for GHSA competition. e. Provide a minimum 5-year warranty on the track surface. 4. Exclusions a. This solicitation excludes services related to long jump pits.
