Site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a library in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a library; for the renovation of a library; for the addition of a three-story above grade library; and for site work for a library.
The Construction Budget is $7,300,000 Questions Due from Participants Friday, November 22, 2024 5:00PM (EST The scope of work on this project, and included in this Request for Qualifications, will be to provide Construction Management at Risk Services for the Preconstruction Cost Estimating, Bidding, and Construction of a building project to include (1) Major Renovation, (2) Minor Remodeling and (3) a minor, new 3-story addition housing Elevator, Stairs and Restrooms. Initially, the functions to be housed may include, but would not be limited to (1) traditional Library functions including student study and meeting spaces, (2) Student Learning Center for tutorial assistance, (3) Student Technology assistance, (4) Coffee Bar, and (5) Community gathering/meeting spaces. Additional work will include Asbestos Abatement to be provided by Owner. In order to not close the entire facility during the course of construction, we would like to consider phasing the project with joint recommendations of the phasing to be approved by the Owner, Architect of Record, and the Construction Management company. Phasing must consider the life and safety concerns of the joint-use egress stair on the north side of the Library. The Construction Budget is $7,300,000
