The work, in general, consists of roof replacement to two buildings at the water treatment plant in the City of Lake Worth Beach (Owner). 1. East Clearwell Roof Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a.Demolition and replacement of existing roof system; b.Surface hardening; and c.Miscellaneous sitework. 2. Lime Processing Plant Roof Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a, Demolition and replacement of existing roof system. The City of Lake Worth Beach is soliciting bids from responsible and experienced general and roofing contractors for the Water Treatment Plant Roof Hardening and Resurface Project located at 301 College St, Lake Worth Beach FL 33460. All questions must be in writing submitted on lakeworthbeachfl.bidsandtenders.net or purchasing1@lakeworthbeachfl.gov before February 20, 2025 at 4 p.m. Bids must be accompanied by a copy of Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidders total price indicated in Bid Form. Bidder must be able to deliver original Bid Bond immediately after the bid opening if requested by the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids except as otherwise provided in Article 13 of the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder, who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to furnish a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond which meet the requirements of section 255.05, Florida Statutes. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive all non material irregularities, to re-advertise, and to cancel any invitation to bid when it is in the best interests of the City.
