Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gerton, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT or the Department) desires to obtain a Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) as part of the delivery of a multi-disciplined project which includes highway reconstruction of US 74A from Bearwallow Mountain Road (SR 1693) to Red Anderson Road (SR 1611) in Henderson County. The Department will provide the project design and inspection team to work with the Contractor during the preconstruction and construction phases. NCDOT proposes to use the Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC)selection process, and then enter into a CM/GC contract with the selected construction contractor. The project includes but is not limited to preconstruction and, if a negotiated CAP is agreed to, construction services, environmental and quality management, safety, contract administration and all necessary support services. This is to be an expedited construction delivery completed by October 31, 2026, including preconstruction and construction activities. The CM/GC will not be required to be prequalified to provide responses to the RFLOI.
