Site work for a water / sewer project in Brooklet, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sanitary sewerage construction including lift station complete, manholes, 6 PVC, 18 PVC, 12 DIP, fencing, electrical work, emergency by-pass, connecting to 12 PVC forcemain, air release valve, fittings, aluminum hatch with safety grate, junction boxes, check valves, plug valves, interior liner of lift station, GAB, concrete, silt fence, and miscellaneous work. Time allotted for completion of work is two hundred forty (240) calendar days. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as utility contracting in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a Utility Contractor and must also employ a Utility Manager certification holder who will have oversight of all the work. See Instruction to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashiers check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by the American Rescue Plan Act and the City of Brooklet. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities. Contractor shall comply with E-Verify regulations.
