Scope of this Bid Package is as follows: a. Excavation and installation of new concrete slab floor in south basement along with structural underpinning. b. Minor masonry restoration work including repointing, brick replacement, masonry cleaning. c. New trim at existing historic wood windows. d. Installation of new exterior entrance systems. e. New MEP systems where indicated. f. Selective demolition of various fixtures, surfaces & finishes, g. Interior rehabilitation of spaces for Owner to occupy the building including new gyp board ceilings, painting historie wood floors. h. Masonry infills and new openings at existing 3-car garage. i. Demolition of several existing concrete slabs on the exterior of the building. j. Construction of a new Front Porch including foundations. k. This will be a Single Prime Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Owner. ESTIMATE OF COST 1. The total estimated construction cost for the Project is: a. Base Bid: $830,000 b. Alternate 1 Second Floor Structural: $54,000 c. Alternate 2 Second Floor Finishes: $62,920 d. Alternate 3 Interior perimeter drain in north basement: $12,500 e. Altermate 4 Porch Structure: 52,900 f. Alternate 5 Garage Exterior: $10,900 8.
