Sewer Line Cleaning- Routine and Emergency Cleaning Services Project Overview: The City is accepting bids for the routine cleaning and CCTV inspection of its sanitary sewer system bid should include pricing for mobilization within two hours for emergency response. The City sanitary sewer system consists of approximately 108,000 linear feet of lines with diameters ranging from six inches to 24 inches. The majority of the system is 8 and 12 inch lines. Approximately 25,000 linear feet of the system is unlined clay pipe. The remaining 80,000+ linear feet of the system is either plastic or clay pipe with cured in place lining. The system includes three system lift stations (Kentucky/Bent Oak; Main Street/Prairie View; and, HH/I-29) and one wastewater treatment plant lift station (WWTP located at 500 W. Mill Street) Work Locations - Contractor may expect to work on sewer lines or lift stations located anywhere within the city limits of Platte City. With few exceptions, work locations are located on or are accessible from hard surface roads.
