Project Overview: Furnish all labor, equipment, trac co control and materials as necessary to complete the removal of concentrated wastewater biosolids from the existing lagoon cell at the City's wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) located at 99 Mill Street in Platte City: Lagoon 1: Located immediately south of the south wall of the SBR chambers at the WWTP. The surface area is approximately 10,000 square feet. Lagoon 2: Located immediately south of Lagoon 1. Lagoon 1 and 2 are separated by a raised dike bisecting the two lagoons. The surface area of Lagoon 2 is approximately 11,500 square feet. Lagoon 3: Located along the north edge of the property with our access road separating this lagoon from Lagoons 1 and 2. The contractor applied 834,576 gallons with % solids of 3.4. Total dry tons applied were 118.4 dry tons. The City anticipates that current volumes will be similar but the amounts are provided as a rough estimate for bidders, the City has no responsibility for the accuracy of estimates. The Contractor should provide their own investigation of the project site prior to bid. The City of Platte City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical or legal deciencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the City.
