Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Auburn, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

In accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Stantec, the Work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tax, equipment and services for the construction and completion of improvements to the French Meadows Campground, RV dump station, and boat ramp picnic area including, but not limited to the following: Selective site demolition, salvage, tree removal, drainage improvements (CMP culverts and valley gutters), potable water service lines (3/4" and 2") and associated improvements, earthwork and grading, new campsites and site furnishings, trails, steps, vault toilet buildings and host sheds, aggregate base and paving for new roadways, concrete pads and walkways, forest service gates, barrier rocks, new signage, and final site stabilization and mulch. The total Contract Time to achieve Final Completion is 311 calendar days. At the time the Contract is bid, awarded and for the duration of the contract, the Owner requires that the General Contractor must possess a valid State of California (CA) Class A- General Engineering Contractor's License (License). The Contractor shall possess a valid Certificate of Reported Compliance in accordance with the California Air Resources Board In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulation. Bidders must comply with the provisions of the Business and Professions Code Section 7028.15 by setting forth their License number and expiration date on their bid. A Bid Guaranty in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate of the bid, including all Additive and/or Alternate Bid Items shall accompany each bid. This Bid Guaranty is to be forfeited should the Bidder, if awarded the contract, fail to enter into the same, or fails to furnish the bonds and/or proof of insurance as stipulated in the Contract Documents. The checks or bond shall be made payable to the Owner. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish both a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price.
