Site work for a civil project in La Place, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Scope of the contract work is to provide means to perform drainage and culverts improvements in the Parish. These replacements/repairs will be done on an as-needed basis only and no minimum expenditure is guaranteed under this contract. Payment for work performed shall be on a unit price basis. It is intended to issue task orders as needed to perform repairs at various locations in St. John the Baptist Parish. Bids shall be addressed to the St. John the Baptist Parish Purchasing and Procurement. Bid envelopes shall be sealed, display the name, address, and Louisiana State Contractors License Number of the bidder, and be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope Culverts and Drainage Improvements Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212(A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any entity. Participation by minority and female owned businesses, as well as businesses located in St. John the Baptist Parish is encouraged. Any person with disabilities requiring Special Accommodations must contact St. John the Baptist Parish at (985) 652-9569 no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
