Self-Primer Pumps . St. John the Baptist Parish reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept any bid which the Council feels serves their best interest. Such action shall be in accordance with LA Revised Statute 38. St. John the Baptist Parish Council, being a government agency, is exempt from all sales tax. Therefore, the amount you bid should contain no sales tax. Any person with disabilities requiring Special Accommodation must contact the St. John the Baptist Parish Council Office at (985) 652-9569 no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening. Participation by minority and female owned business, as well as businesses located in this Parish, is encouraged.
