All questions regarding this invitation to bid should be directed by email to Kathy Chambers, Senior Buyer Procurement Analyst, City of West Haven, at kchambers@westhaven-ct.gov. The request for information deadline is noon Thursday, November 14, 2024. The City of West Haven is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call asphalt services for curbs and fill-in work on an as-needed basis. The selected contractors will be expected to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the timely and efficient completion of asphalt paving and repair services for various projects throughout the City. The contractor will be responsible for providing asphalt services, which may include but are not limited to the following: 1. Asphalt for Curbs: o Installation, repair, of asphalt curbing o Asphalt work in compliance with City standards. o Ensuring proper compaction, grading, and drainage for longevity and safety. Minimum Requirements: Contractor must demonstrate experience in asphalt curbing and repair Contractor must have the ability to respond to service requests in a timely manner. Proof of appropriate licenses, insurance, and bonding. Adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
