The City of West Haven invites bids from qualified contractors for the removal of non-hazardous materials at the Savin Rock Conference Center, located at 6 Rock Street West Haven, CT. The project involves the removal, transport, and disposal of designated non-hazardous materials in compliance with OSHA requirements. Material Removal: Remove all non-hazardous materials as specified, including office furniture, fixtures, debris, and other non-hazardous waste materials. Transportation and Disposal: Transport and dispose of materials at an approved facility, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Site Clean-Up: Clear all residual debris and leave the site in a clean condition. The selected contractor must adhere to the following OSHA regulations, including but not limited to: PPE and Hazard Communication: Ensure all personnel use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow the Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). Fall Protection: Comply with OSHA's Fall Protection Standard (29 CFR 1926.501) if work at height is necessary. Confined Spaces: Follow OSHA's Confined Space Standard (29 CFR 1910.146) for any work within confined areas. Dust Control: Apply dust suppression measures to control airborne particulates in compliance with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910.134).
