The City of West Haven's Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) invites qualified contractors to submit bids for providing on call professional cleaning services for homes and businesses impacted by sewage backups. The contractor(s) selected will offer prompt and efficient cleanup services in response to sewage-related incidents to ensure health and safety standards are met within the City. The contractor will be responsible for the following services: Assessment and Cleanup: Immediate on-site assessment and thorough cleaning, including disinfecting and deodorizing affected areas. Wastewater Removal: Safe removal and disposal of wastewater in compliance with environmental regulations. Sanitization: Application of approved sanitizers and antimicrobial agents in all affected areas. Damage Mitigation: Services to prevent further property damage, including drying and dehumidifying structures. Reporting: Detailed reporting on cleanup activities, condition assessments, and any repairs or additional work needed.
