Request for Qualifications 4 Ballfield Sports Complex & Park Improvement Project The Village of New London is seeking a Request for Qualifications for engineering services, conceptual design, and cost estimates in connection with the 4 Ballfield Sports Complex and Park Improvement Project. Project Overview: The 4 Ballfield Sports Complex and Park Improvement Project consists of six components: 1. A four-ballfield sports complex with central concessions, restrooms, and storage; 2. A splash pad; 3. Heilman building facelift to include new siding and exterior updates and upgrade to building entrance to include a cloak room and handicapped accessibility; 4. Paved parking lot (30 spots including handicapped parking); 5. Pave existing roads throughout the park leading to sports complex; 6. Football field conversion to accommodate truck & tractor pull contest and demolition derby. Four Ballfield Sports Complex Complex will be built on property owned by the Village of New London and consist of: three (3) fields fence at 225'radius from home plate; one (1) field fence at 300' radius from home plate; turf on all fields; turf existing men's softball field (this field is separate from the complex and would be 300' radius from home plate); lighting (lights to be placed to accommodate multiple playing fields); score boards at each field; dugouts for each field; bleachers with sun protection and foul ball protection; two-story central concession stand (second story would be used for scorekeeping. First story would be for concessions, restrooms, storage & utility room, big donor's wall); concrete walkways throughout the complex; grand entranceway with ticket booth; fencing for fields and around entire complex.; hookup for food vendors inside grand entranceway; parking lot. Park Improvements Park improvements to complement the sports complex: a splash pad; Hileman building facelift to include new siding and exterior updates and upgrade to building entrance to include a cloak room and handicapped accessibility.; football field conversion to accommodate truck & tractor pull contest and demolition derby; pave existing roads throughout the park leading to sports complex.
