Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid in favor of the Owner or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit per Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to the Owner. The bid guaranty protects the Owner if the selected bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish required bond and insurance certificates within ten days of award notification.
