The ROPEC Screen and Degrit Building Rehabilitation will generally comprise of the following works: 1) Mechanical Screen Replacement i. Removal of existing screens and associated controls ii. Installation of six (6) mechanical screens iii. Modifications to the screen channels and grating to accommodate new screens. iv. Removal of skylights to permit removal and installation of screens v. Replacement and relocation of controls and instrumentation related to the screens, including local control panels, solenoid valves, level transmitters and field wiring. vi. Electrical wiring and miscellaneous works. 2) Installation of Washer Compactors 1. Installation of six screenings washer-compactors, including associated discharge piping ii. Controls and instrumentation related to the washer compactors, including local control panels, switches, solenoid valves and field wiring iii. Process piping modifications iv. Installation of diverter gates and associated control panels. v. Electrical wiring and miscellaneous works 3) Grit Classifier Modifications i. Relocation of existing grit classifiers and associated valves and piping ii. Installation of new grit screw conveyors and associated controls iii. Installation of discharge gates and associated control panels iv. Electrical wiring and miscellaneous works 4) Installation of New Belt Conveyors i. Installation of two (2) Belt Conveyors ii. Controls and instrumentation related to the belt conveyors, including local control panels, switches, instrumentation and field wiring iii. Structural metal frame support installation iv. Electrical wiring and miscellaneous works A letter from the Surety Company confirming the respondents total bonding limits. The successful bidder of the Stage 2 RFT will be required to provide a 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour & Material Payment Bond on behalf of the respondent for all work.
