Barron County is seeking quotations for the installation of two jack screw assemblies and drive shafts including couplers, for Roller Gate 3 at the Rice Lake Wisconsin Dam. The jacks are used to operate a 10-ton Murco Roller Gate, which has a travel length of 4.9 feet. Materials will be furnished and paid for by Barron County. Scope of Work The selected contractor will be responsible for the following: 1. Installation of 21 steel I-Beam stoplogs (700 lbs each) that are onsite. 2. Removal of the jackscrew assemblies and drive shafts. 3. Installation of the new assemblies and drive shafts ensuring full operational capability of the Roller Gate 3. 4. Testing and commissioning of the new system to ensure proper function and reliability. 5. Removal and placing in storage of stoplogs at the dam site.
