Fabrication and installation of six (6) Welcome (to Neighborhood) Signs in various Boston neighborhoods with an add alternate for removal and reinstallation of two (2) signs The fabrication and installation of six non-illuminated deep-fabricated aluminum sign cabinets with overlaminate vinyl per location as described below. Fabrication Oval size, lettering, font and font sizes, and paint colors shall match the existing "Welcome to [neighborhood]" signs located throughout the City. Sign size to be 39.875"H x 51.75"W x 5.5"D (see graphic below) Front .080 aluminum faces to be covered with digitally printed vinyl, dark blue background with white lettering Printed vinyl to have clear luster finish vinyl overlaminate Back sides are blank Color specs for the signs: Print colors: Dark Blue PMS 288c & White Paint colors: Dark Blue PMS 288c Font shall be "Goudy OldStyle XBd" The selected vendor shall provide full-color proofs of all graphics for the City's review and allow the City final approval and two (2) revisions each before beginning fabrication or printing Installation Six (6) signs to be installed on 3" aluminum tube posts painted dark blue Color specs for the posts: Dark Blue PMS 288c Direct burial installation into various surfaces detailed in "Sign Locations" chart to follow Locations are listed in the attached table, and specific addresses will be provided upon contract award. Installation does not have hour restrictions, require a police detail, or specialty lift Permit fees shall be waived by the City Surveying of locations required to determine existing conditions, any obstructions, required heights, etc. Height of signs may vary slightly based on location. Following installation, the vendor shall provide as-built drawings of the sign including accurate measurements, positioning, installation method, and other relevant information. BACKGROUND With this Written Quote Contract (WQC), we are seeking vendors to fabricate and install six (6) welcome to neighborhood signs and the possible reinstallation of two (2) additional signs as further described in the specifications.
