The City of Hampton, Georgia is seeking a statement of qualifications from architectural firms for design services of expansion, renovations, and new construction for a variety of capital improvement projects. The city has identified buildings throughout the city which vary in degree of complexity and size. The city own properties are underutilized and/or outdated functionally such that immediate improvements are required. The properties include Cherry Street "Old Fire Station" building, Catherine S. Williams Community Center, Hampton Historic Train Depot a/k/a Glenn Mitchell Administration and Community Building, Hampton City Hall, and 24 E. Main Street building. Additionally, the city's capital improvement plan includes architectural designs for a new city hall and a new community center. The city solicits RFQ from qualified, licensed, and responsible firms interested in providing services as Type A: Large-scale Consulting Companies or Type B: Commercial Architectural Services companies. Type A: Large-scale consulting companies that offer comprehensive services, including engineering, architecture, urbanism and planning, interior architecture, and landscape architecture. Type B: Small-scale architecture companies that offer design services for single use buildings and spaces intended for commercial and civic purposes. The Proponent shall provide Architectural Services to the City of Hampton, Georgia as specified in RFQ 2024-100 Architectural Services and further defined as Attachment A: Scope of Work (SOW). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
